Introduction

This policy sets out the actions that may be classed as abuse, and what to do if abuse occurs. It is intended to supplement the AUP, ToS and AUP.

Definitions

"us", "our", "Zephyr", "zephyrhosting.net" all refer to Zephyr Enterprises.

Abuse is classed as:

• The unauthorized use of any account
• The use of any account, service, tool or other method to deliberately misuse our servers, scripts or any other part of the company to cause damage, offense, or general nuisance to others.

For the purposes of clarification this includes the use of the email services we provide to send spam or any other bulk mailing to which the recipient has not specifically requested to receive. We take spam very seriously, and we will not tolerate it.
Abuse is also defined as the misuse of the web hosting services we provide ("hosting") to publish materials about, condoning or otherwise encouraging the acts of piracy, terrorism, or any other illegal activities including virus creation or distribution.

Action on Abusers

Anyone found abusing the services we offer will be immediately terminated without any form of refund. Billing for any future period will cease, however any unpaid bills must be settled in a timely manner.
